Why chambers switch
Built for how a Bangladeshi chamber actually works.
The diary apps we tried in our own chambers were built for someone else. These are the reasons advocates give when they move to Tarikh.
Bangla first, not bolted on
Dates, weekdays, calendar headers, form labels and client messages are native Bangla. English is a per-user toggle, not the other way round.
Bangladesh time, always
A tarikh entered at 11 pm in Dhaka stays on that day. The digest goes out at 7 am BST and skips Friday and Saturday. No foreign-timezone surprises.
Phone-first for the corridor
Juniors enter cases standing outside the courtroom. Every in-court action is three taps or fewer, and the same screens adapt to the muhuri's desktop in the evening.
Chamber-shaped roles
Senior, Junior and Muhuri are real roles with real permissions. The senior governs members and deletions; the muhuri has full operational rights to enter, edit and notify.
Questions
Before you switch.
Can the whole chamber share one diary?
Yes. One chamber is one workspace. Invite the senior, juniors and muhuri by email, and they see the same cases, hearings and tarikh history on their own phones. Roles decide who can edit, delete and invite.
Do I have to fill in everything to save a case?
No. A case saves with just the case number, court, next tarikh and type. Parties, client details and notes are optional groups the muhuri can complete later in the evening.
Does it work on a basic Android phone?
Yes. Tarikh is a responsive web app, so it runs in the browser on any phone from about 360 px wide, on tablets and on desktops. There is nothing to install and nothing to update.
What do I get on the free trial?
Fourteen days of every chamber feature for up to ten members, with no card required. Clause AI legal research is part of the paid Chamber plan and is not available on the trial.
