Bangladesh Code statutes
Acts, ordinances and their sections from the official law portal. Every reference is rendered as [Act §Section] and links to the section text so you read the law, not a paraphrase.
Supreme Court precedents
Reported judgments of the Appellate and High Court Divisions, cited by their official citation. Clause never cites a case it did not retrieve, so there are no invented precedents.
Bangla, English, Banglish
Ask in any of the three, or mix them in one sentence. Clause detects the language and answers in it, with Bangla section text where the source is in Bangla.
Private threads, purged after 7 days
Conversations are private to the member who started them and continue as multi-turn threads. Any thread idle for seven days is deleted automatically.
A monthly cap per chamber
Each chamber gets a fair monthly allowance of Clause questions, shared across members. It keeps the price predictable and Clause available to everyone in the chamber.
How it works
Retrieval first, then the answer.
Clause does not answer from memory. When you ask a question it first works out the scope and the language, expands the query into the terms the law actually uses, and retrieves the relevant sections and judgments from Tarikh's own index of the Bangladesh Code and reported Supreme Court decisions. Only then does it write an answer, and it is only allowed to use what it retrieved.
That is why every claim carries a citation. A statute reference opens the section text; a case reference opens the judgment summary with its official citation. If the retrieved material does not cover the question, Clause tells you that rather than filling the gap with a plausible-sounding paragraph.
Clause lives inside the diary, so research happens where the case is. A junior preparing for tomorrow's hearing can open the case, ask Clause about the relevant section, and paste the citation into the case notes for the senior to see in the morning digest.

Where do Clause AI answers come from?
For statutes, from the Bangladesh Code itself: acts, ordinances and their sections from the official law portal at bdlaws.minlaw.gov.bd. For case law, from reported Supreme Court of Bangladesh judgments, each cited by its official citation. Every claim is cited inline and Clause does not invent law.
Can I rely on Clause in court?
Use it as a research assistant, not a substitute for your own judgement. It points you to the right section or judgment with the source pinned, but you should verify the current text, any amendments and whether a cited case is still good law before relying on it. It is built to cite, not to advise.
Which languages can I ask in?
Bangla, English, or Bangla typed in English letters. Clause understands all three, including a mix in one sentence, and replies in the language you wrote in.
Are my conversations private?
Yes. A thread is visible only to the member who started it, not to the rest of the chamber. Threads that stay idle for seven days are purged automatically, and Clause never sees another chamber's cases.
Is Clause available on the free trial?
